LArissa Wawryk
Meet me, Larissa.
Outside of the studio you can find me at the hospital, where I work as a nurse. I have always had an interest in health and enjoy helping others.
My interest in physical health led me to lifecycle. I started my journey on optimizing my health physically, mentally and emotionally two years ago. Focusing on what I was putting in my body and how I felt both physically and mentally. I learnt that following a whole food, paleo, plant based approach worked for me. I started going to the gym on a regular basis which I enjoyed but never felt a love for it. I was introduced to lifecycle by a friend. Initially I was apprehensive, I had thoughts of “oh I am not in good enough shape” or “how will I look while spinning”. I am glad my friend encouraged me to check out lifecycle, after my first class I was hooked. The energy, music, instructors, sense of community, the challenge and feeling I got leaving the studio was euphoria. I felt a sense of home, for the first time in my life I looked forward to working out it never felt like a “chore” or something I had to do. After attending lifecycle on a regular basis for almost a year I started having thoughts of “how amazing it would be to teach a class”. I mentioned my desire to Jess, who was planning auditions for new instructors. I didn’t hesitate at the opportunity to be part of the lifecycle family.
I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of a team focused on health, happiness, confidence, community, and individuality. I look forward to instilling these values while motivating you to accomplish your goals, most of all have fun. Join me on the bike and I guarantee a good sweat!
