Meet Me, Alicia.

Hey team! I’m so excited to finally announce I’m officially an instructor at Lifecycle!

I first started coming to spin at Lifecycle in August of 2021 and although my first class practically killed me, something about the amazing community couldn’t keep me away. I soon after started on a membership and came any day I could. I joined the karma team in May of 2022 so you may recognize me already from behind the desk and spinning beside you! Becoming an instructor was always a thought in the back of my mind and I began seriously thinking about it when the 2022 auditions were announced. I didn’t take the leap to audition in 2022 since the timing didn’t feel right but I’m so glad to have gotten the opportunity to audition and train in the summer of 2024!

A little bit about me! I’m born and raised in Saskatoon. I will graduate from the University of Saskatchewan with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing in the spring of 2025 and will become an RN shortly after! I have two older sisters who also work in healthcare and have fitness backgrounds. I used to be a competitive dancer for 10 years starting at a young age. My dance background is something that has really helped me as a spinner and especially as an instructor. Riding to the beat and creating fun choreography is my favourite part!

In my classes, you can expect a little bit of everything! I love all music genres but gravitate to songs that have a strong beat or catchy tune that gets you in the zone and makes you forget you’re even working out. My favourite tracks include a fun climb with choreo or the track right before gratitude that pushes you to the limit. My goal as an instructor is to give everyone the space to feel their best and work towards their fitness goals and have fun while doing it!
